Collective Worship

Worship forms a very special part of daily life in school, whether we gather together as a whole school family or spend time together in our classes or Key Stages. It is a time to learn from Bible stories and events, share an understanding of God’s love and relate the Gospel message and its values to our everyday lives. It is also a time for prayer and reflection and an opportunity to refer to current world-wide events or issues which may, or may not, affect our lives.

We believe that it is important to develop core values by which to live and moral standards that build children's character, spiritual awareness and self-esteem.

Resilience, Inclusion, Ambition, Integrity, Love and Courage

Resilience

We remain hopeful and determined when we face challenges. We keep trying despite setbacks and overcome obstacles together.

Inclusion

We make sure everyone feels welcome, valued and able to join in, no matter who they are or what they can do.

Ambition

We believe in ourselves, have big dreams and work hard to make them happen.

Integrity

We are honest and do the right thing, even when no one is watching.

Love

We are kind and patient with others, we care, share and help others to feel special and safe.

Courage

We are brave enough to stand up for what is right, are not afraid to learn and push ourselves to be the best that we can be.
