The whistle is blown for pupils to line up at 8.45am promptly.
School begins at 8.50am.

The time spent on teaching during a normal school week, not including break times, registration and the daily act of collective worship is:
Key Stage 1: 23 hours per week.
Key Stage 2: 23 hours 30 minutes per week.
St. Swithun’s School has its own kitchens and excellent meals of a high quality are served in a cafeteria system. A menu is displayed weekly in the school hall.
If you receive Family Income Support you may apply for financial help with school meals. You can get the application forms from the school or the County Contact Point in the Market Square. It is very important that if you are entitled to apply for free school meals that you should do so as soon as possible.
If it is preferred, your child may bring a packed lunch.

Your child may need a swimming kit. Please check their swimming day.
Smart, good quality school sweatshirts and T – shirts with the school logo can be purchased from the school office.
Also available are smart book bags for the children’s reading books and P.E. bags for their P.E. kit or swimming kit, both printed with the school logo.
